Electricity Sale
Every subscriber who consumes minimum of 4500 KWh per year (which corresponds to an approximately 133 TL bill per month) can be an eligible consumer. This limit has been set by EMRA for 2104.
Consumer who meets that condition applies to the distribution company of his related area. Application is being processed by the distribution company. After the approval of the application, distribution company provides as single line scheme together with Eligible Consumer Certificate. Then, eligible consumer can make contract with the wholesale companies whichever he wants.
If a consumer has branches of a same legal entity in different regions, he can combine the consumptions of these branches within one unit and apply for an eligibality. Likewise, multiple consumers can combine their demand and can apply under single consumer unit for eligibality. Ways and processes for such kinds of optimizations are open.
